Indian gooseberry is a fruit which is almost round and greenish yellow in color. Its taste is sour. This fibrous fruit is rich in vitamin C and contains antioxidant. Every part of Indian Gooseberry plant i.e. the fruit, seed, leaf, root, bark, flower are very useful in preparing Ayurvedic medicines.
