Anthrax: its causes and symptoms
Anthrax is an infectious disease and lead caused by a spore-forming bacterium recognized as bacillus anthracis. The bacillus anthracis spores are extremely resistant to inactivation and may be there in the soil, for instance, for decades, sporadically
infecting grazing animals that consume the spores. Anthrax cannot be widening directly from person to person, but a long-suffering’s clothes and body may be infected with anthrax spores. Human infection may happen by three routes of contact to anthrax spores: cutaneous (through the skin), gastrointestinal (by eating), and pulmonary (breathing).
The growth of anthrax as a biological weapon by numerous foreign countries has been documented. An infected person will normally be quarantined. Though, anthrax does not generally spread from an infected person to a non-infected person. However if the disease is serious the person’s body and its accumulation of anthrax bacilli becomes a possible source of contagion to others and special safety measures should be used to prevent additional contamination. Sadly inhalation anthrax, if left un-treated in anticipation of obvious symptoms happen, will generally result in death, as healing will have started too late. Colon Cancer, Symptoms, Causes and Treatment
Colon cancer which is also known as bowel cancer or colorectal cancer. Colon cancer is a cancer that develops in the colon or rectum. Colon cancer may affect any ethnic group. Most of the colon cancer early symptoms may go unnoticed as they do not cause severe discomfort or might be considered as other ailments. Narrow stools, for a prolonged period of time, are an indication of some sort of growth in the colon or rectum.
The narrowing results as the waste material tries to navigate through the tumor. Another colon cancer early symptom is nausea and vomiting without any reason. In fact, obstruction caused by tumor can trigger periodic episodes of nausea and vomiting. Flatulence and other disorders caused by gas can be due to the obstruction created by the cancerous growth. A tumor in the rectum causes a feeling of unfinished defecation. Persistent occurrence of such a feeling indicates the presence of a tumor which is mistaken by the body as stool. Pancreas, Acute pancreatitis, Causes and Symptoms
The pancreas is an elongated but tapered glandular organ located in upper abdomen and lies behind the stomach. The pancreas is responsible for producing digestive juices containing enzymes which are essential for proper digestion and hormones like insulin and glucagons which regulate the glucose level in the blood.

The pancreas has two functional components: –
1. The endocrine part which produce and secretes hormones into the blood stream
2. The exocrine part which produce digestive juices
Acinar cells are outward or exocrine cells.
Pancreatitis: – Pancreatitis is the inflammation of the pancreas. It may be acute or chronic. Both acute pancreatitis and chronic pancreatitis can be severe and even life threatening.
Acute Pancreatitis: – It is an acute inflammatory process of the pancreas in which peripancreatic tissue or remote organ systems may also be involved.
Pancreatitis Causes: -
1. Gall Stone
2. Some types of drugs
3. Use of excessive alcohol
4. Chronic hypercalcemia
5. Toxins (e.g. Scorpion venom)
6. Infections such as mumps, tuberculosis, toxoplasmosis etc.
7. Abdominal trauma
8. Peptic ulcer or other duodenal disease
9. Cystic fibrosis
10. Pancreatic tumor
11. Ischemia from bye pass surgery
